Enjoy the fact that you live in Christchurch and that Powershop is able to delivery cheaper daytime weekend power thanks to the local network company Orion. Most homes in Christchurch are supplied by Orion.

How we do it

We can offer cheaper weekend power as we are charged less by Orion for line services between 7am and 9pm during the weekend and we want to pass these savings onto you. We are the first and only retailer with systems smart enough to deliver weekend savings.

How it works

It’s simple – the power you use on the weekend between 7am – 9pm will receive a rebate of 5c/kWh. Each month we will apply a rebate to your account for the power used during this time. We believe our weekend rebate is just one of the many ways you can save with Powershop.

How to get it

It’s easy to take advantage of this offer, we’ll step you through sign up and organise the whole thing, all you need is a smart meter. If you don’t have a smart meter we can install one for you. It will take about a month and in most cases we can do it at no cost to you.
