Each month we'll send you an email packed with information about your Powershop account. It's called your Account Review, and Katie is here to walk you through it in this video.


Your Account Review email will tell you anything and everything you need to know about your last month of power usage. We’ll send you the email a few days after the billing period has ended, so any power you purchase on the day your email arrives will go towards next month's bill.

When your Account Review email comes through, you’ll notice it includes a bunch of different information about the amount of power you’ve consumed over the last 30 days.

The Account Review email will cover how much power you’ve used over the Account Review period, how much the power cost you, what Powerpacks have been used and your meter reads.

You’ll also find a PDF attached, with all of the information in your Account Review email, just with a wee bit more detail.

The main thing to check in your Account Review is whether or not your account is all paid up, or if we’ve had to purchase power on your behalf. If we’ve bought power for you, your Account Review email will tell you how much was purchased, and how much is owing. We’ll also tell you when the money will be direct debited from your bank account or credit card to cover this purchase.

We’ll always give you at least three business days notice before we attempt to take payment from your saved bank account number or credit card that’s on the account. If this date doesn’t suit you, just get in touch and we can move it if you’d prefer to pay by online banking, or if you need a little bit more time to make that payment.

Account Review payment - mobile alert

If you’ve downloaded our mobile app, you’ll also get a mobile alert at least three days before we make a transaction to let you know how much we are going to take, and when.
