In order to be eligible for Get Shifty rates you must meet the following criteria.
- You must have a smart meter where Powershop is able to process your half-hour consumption data.
- Your connection must be in one of the following networks, Top Energy (Far North), Northpower (Whangarei and Kaipara), Vector and United Networks (Auckland), Counties Power (Counties), WEL Networks (Hamilton), Horizon (Eastern Bay of Plenty), Eastland Network (Eastland), Waipa (Waipa district), Powerco (East Waikato, Coromandel, Taranaki, Manawatu, Wanganui, Rangitikei, Hawera and Wairarapa), Unison (Hawke’s Bay, Taupo and Rotorua), Centralines (Central Hawke’s Bay), Scanpower (Southern Hawke’s Bay), Electra (Kapiti & Horowhenua), Wellington Electricity (Wellington), Nelson Electricity (Nelson City), Marlborough Lines (Marlborough), Network Tasman (Tasman), Buller Electricity (Buller District), Westpower (Westland), Mainpower (North Canterbury), Orion (Christchurch), Electricity Ashburton (Mid Canterbury), Alpine Energy (South Canterbury), Network Waitaki (Waitaki), Aurora (Central Otago, Dunedin and Queenstown), OtagoNet JV (East and South Otago), The Power Company (Southland), Electricity Invercargill (Invercargill and Bluff)
- Your connection must have an eligible price category and meter configuration.
If you do not meet these criteria we will contact you to let you know. You'll be able to join on our traditional all-day rates instead.
