Comment on the Powershop ‘Describe Powershop in two sentences’ competition post and tell us how you would describe Powershop to a mate in two sentences. There are 5 individual prizes of $100 Powershop account credit to win.
How it works
Powershop customers can enter to win by commenting on Powershop’s official competition Facebook or Instagram page post from Midday 27th of July 2023 to Midnight 30th of July 2023 (the Promotional Period).
Customers can enter once. You will only be eligible to win one prize. It is one entry per Powershop Customer.
The winners will be randomly selected from the comments on the 31st of July 2023.
The prize
There are 5 $100 Powershop power credits to be won, the winner will have the amount credited to their Powershop account.
The credit will be credited to the winners within 5 days of them supplying account details.
Eligibility to enter and win
Each person is only eligible to enter once and must:
- be over 18 and a New Zealand resident;
- be a natural person (i.e. not a business or other entity);
- be a Powershop residential customer;
- not be an employee or contractor of Powershop (and its related companies) or their immediate families;
- comment on the eligible competition post
A comment describing Powershop in two sentences means: a comment that is not inappropriate, suggestive, or contain abusive language. Powershop NZ reserves the right (in its absolute discretion) to determine whether a comment is inappropriate, suggestive, or contains abusive language.

The Draw
The winning entries will be randomly selected as at midday on Monday the 31st of July 2023
Powershop NZ will attempt to contact the winner by comment reply and/or private message from the official Powershop NZ Facebook Page. If contact is not made within 24 hours of the prize draw, the Prize will be deemed to be forfeited and Powershop will conduct a redraw.
The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. The winner be a Powershop customer at the time of the Prize draw, and if they have left Powershop, their Prize will be forfeited, and a re-draw will take place.
Powershop reserves the right to use the Prize winner’s name and region, and their entry into this competition for publicity or advertising purposes without payment or other compensation.
The Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, Powershop may reserve the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with another prize equal in value and/or specification.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Powershop (and any associated agencies), including any employees, contractors, officers, directors and agents, is not liable to any person for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or any damages, expenses, or costs whatsoever, including without limitation any damage to property or personal injury suffered as a result of or in connection with winning the Prize.
Once the Prize has been sent out to the winners, Powershop has no liability for any failure to comply with or delay in complying with its obligations in respect of the Prize due to any circumstances beyond Powershop’s reasonable control.
Powershop makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or any other issues that may exist with the Prize.
Powershop may change these terms and conditions in its sole discretion at any time by notice on its Facebook page. Powershop reserves the right to amend or cease running this competition at any time by notice on its Facebook page.
