Terms and Conditions 

The online shop

1.     The ‘Pink Thursday’ online shop is open for one day – 27 November 2025 – to all active Powershop customers on this date. All purchases must be made through the Powershop “Pink Thursday” Shopify site pinkthursday.co.nz. Employees and contractors of Powershop will not be eligible to make purchases from the shop.

2.      Stock availability in the online shop is strictly limited and is allocated on a “first-come, first-served" basis. No backorders will be offered. Powershop makes no representation that sale items will be available for any given customer.

3.      All postage and packaging is handled by a third party agency in accordance with their terms and conditions. Delivery times are subject to our delivery partners including any constraints they encounter during delivery e.g. unable to access property etc. Purchases are not able to be sent overseas and will be posted to the address on the Powershop account.

4.      The chosen charities will receive the proceeds of the Pink Thursday sale within 14 days of Powershop receiving those proceeds from its payments services provider. Powershop reserves the right to appoint proceeds to any charity where a chosen charity has not been selected at checkout.

5.      All prices are based on RRP and all discounted prices include GST.

6.      Sale items purchased from the online shop cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or credited for their RRP or any other value. Any refund made in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will be based on the amount paid after discount.

7.      Powershop reserves the right to cancel any order suspected of fraudulent activity, dishonest conduct, or breach of these conditions.

8.      Powershop may also vary these terms and conditions at any time by posting revised terms and conditions on our website.

9.      When collecting personal information Powershop complies with the Privacy Act 2020. You can view our privacy policy at: http://www.powershop.co.nz/privacy-policy.

10.   Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Powershop (and any related companies or associated agencies), including any employees, contractors, officers, directors and agents, is not liable to any person for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or any damages, expenses, or costs whatsoever and is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.

11.    Nothing in these conditions limits your rights under the Fair Trading Act 1986 or Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

 

The giveaway

1.   To be eligible to win one of the four, $500 prezzy cards, you must enter your details on the Shopify website and be a Powershop customer on the date of the draw. Employees and contractors of Powershop and their immediate families are not eligible to win a Prezzy card.

2.   Winners will be randomly selected via a random draw which will be completed on Friday, Dec 5th, 2025 (or such other date as determined by Powershop) and winners advised as soon as practicable following the draw.

3.   Winners will be contacted via their Powershop account email or directly through Facebook or Instagram and may be asked to provide proof of eligibility.  Winners will have two weeks to claim the prize from the date we advise them that they have won.  If a winner does not respond within the two weeks, they will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and Powershop has the right to randomly draw a replacement winner.  The prize will be sent to the winner within 30 business days of supplying the details to claim their prize.

4.   The prize will be sent to the account holder only. It is up to the account holder to have up to date email and phone number information on their account.

5.   Each account holder can win a maximum of one prize.

6.   By accepting the prize, the winners will be deemed to have accepted the prize suppliers’ terms and conditions of supply, privacy policy and any other of the suppliers’ terms and conditions relating to the prize.

7.   Powershop reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the entry process or operating in violation of these terms and conditions.

8.   If a winner does not meet the eligibility at the time of the draw, Powershop will conduct a redraw.

9.   Powershop will contact the winners and confirm use of their details on our social pages. Powershop will not use customer details without confirmation.

10.  Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Powershop (and any related companies or associated agencies), including any employees, contractors, officers, directors and agents, is not liable to any person for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or any damages, expenses, or costs whatsoever and is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.

11.  Powershop’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

12.  The prizes are not transferrable, refundable, or redeemable for cash. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, Powershop reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal value and specification.

13.  Powershop reserves the right to extend, cancel or amend the competition at any time. Powershop may also vary this offer at any time by posting revised terms and conditions on our website.

15.  Powershop reserves the right to verify the identity of any entrant (including an entrant's identity, age, city/town of residence) and to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

16. By entering the competition, entrants accept these terms and conditions with Powershop and agree to be contacted by Powershop in relation to this competition.
