Take charge of your power with Powerpacks!
Instead of just waiting for your bill, Powershop lets you shop for your power through the month with Powerpacks.
Powerpacks are credits that go towards your power, a bit like topping up your phone. Shop smart and you’ll lock in discounts that help you save.
Scroll down the Shop tab in the app and you’ll find them grouped: Must-Have Packs first, then Future Packs, and finally Value Packs.
Here’s the rundown.
Must-Have Packs
The heavy hitters: Staying Power and Specials. When one's available, you'll see it ready to add to your cart, along with its value, discount, saving and cost.
Staying Power
Your monthly must-have, starting with a sweet 20% off the pack’s value.
Staying Power is your loyalty reward, so the longer you stick with us, the better it gets: the discount increases 1% per year you’re with us, up to a max of 25% after five years.
It drops on the first of each month and you can grab it any time that month. It’s the one we’d start with.
Specials
Released most Tuesdays, these one-off packs come in different sizes and discounts, and they’re available in the Shop for a limited time only. You’ll see the level of the discount displayed on the pack in the Shop.
Turn on app notifications so you catch them the moment they drop (desktop users can check the Shop, and we post them on our socials, too).
Tip: Rather than buying all your power up front, grab each Special as it's released, then fill any gaps with Value Packs before your Account Review.
Future Packs
Think ahead and squirrel away discounts for the months to come.
Buy up to two packs per month, available to purchase as far as six months out. The further ahead you buy, the bigger the discount off the pack’s value - right up to 10% at six months (8% at five, 6% at four, you get the idea).
You can grab them any time and they’ll sit in your Pantry (under ‘Activity’ in the app) until their month rolls around. It’s like finding that block of chocolate in a cupboard you forgot about.
Value Packs
Value Packs are your handy top-up. They’re always in the Shop, in a range of fixed prices to suit your needs and budget.
They come with a small, set saving rather than a percentage off the pack’s value, so they’re best saved for last, to fill any gaps before your Account Review once your Must-Haves are sorted.

How to Powershop like a pro
There’s no one way to do it, but here are a few notes from the Powershop playbook:
Maximising your month? Grab your Must-Haves: Staying Power, then every weekly Special as it drops. Use Value Packs to fill any gap when it’s time to tally up.
Like shopping to a budget? Value Packs come in a range of pre-set sizes, each with a saving to match, so you know exactly what you’ll spend and save.
Like planning ahead? Reward future you with Future Packs; the earlier you buy, the more you save.
And if your eyes are bigger than your actual usage, no harm done: any unused Powerpacks roll over to next time.
What’s Standard Power?
However much you shop, any balance your Powerpacks don’t cover by Account Review time gets topped up with a Standard Power pack, which we buy on your behalf. It’s a credit that matches your balance, charged at your standard rates with no discount.
