Rather than waiting for your monthly bill to land, you can choose to buy power in advance at a discount, whenever it suits you during your billing cycle. Pretty cool, right?

Don’t feel like shopping? No worries, we won’t cut off your power if you haven’t picked up Powerpacks to cover your usage. You’ll just be charged at your Standard Rate.

Powerpacks

Once you’re a Powershop customer, you get access to the Shop in the Powershop app. Here, you buy units of power called Powerpacks. These give you a discount on your Standard Rate for the same amount of power.

How to shop for power

It’s as easy as shopping at the supermarket. Some might say easier. Once you’ve got the Powershop app, you simply:

• Browse our range of Powerpacks
• Add the ones you like to your cart
• Checkout

You can pay for your Powerpacks straight away or wait and pay when your bill is due; it’s up to you.

Just remember Powerpacks need to be purchased before your bill is issued to count toward that billing cycle. Anything bought after that will roll over to the next one, but they won't expire.

That’s it. It’s pretty much replacing one quick doom scroll with buying cheaper power.

Powershop Hack #1 - Future Packs:

Future Packs are discounted Powerpacks you can buy now to use later - up to six months ahead. The further out the month, the bigger the discount (up to 10%). You can even buy up to two packs for each future month - perfect for stocking up in the cheaper, sunnier months to prep for winter.

You’ll find them at the bottom of the Shop in the app or online. They don’t expire, and any unused power just rolls over. Easy.

Powershop Hack #2 - Specials:

Almost every week, we drop a limited-time Special. Smaller Powerpacks with great discounts that last just a few days. You’ll get a push notification as soon as they land in the Shop.

Need flexibility? Buy now, pay later. But hurry, these deals vanish fast!

Powershop Hack #3 - Staying Power:

There’s a special place in our hearts for loyal shoppers. Staying Power is our biggest discount pack, rewarding you just for sticking with us. It drops on the 1st and stays in the Shop all month, so you can grab it when it suits you.

The discount starts at 20% and grows by 1% each year, up to 25% after 5 years. The longer you stay, the sweeter the deal.

With Powershop, you’re in control. Just need a quick Powerpack? Go for it. Want to stock up? Easy. Shop based on your own habits and budget.

We’ll ping you when specials drop. And if you miss them, your card just covers what’s left on your billing day. No stress, no cold showers.
