Play Powershop’s 15th Birthday Game and go in the draw to win one of 45x $150 power credits and one special grand every week from 29 July to 25 August.
By entering this competition, you consent to receive marketing communications, and will be contacted if you’re selected as a prize winner.
How it works:
Each week you can go into the draw to win by doing any of the following:
- PLAY – Simply by playing the game, you’ll be in the draw to win one of 15x $150 weekly power credits.
- SHARE – Share your score on your Facebook or Instagram stories and tag @powershopnz. Each share goes in the draw to win one of 15x $150 Powershop credits.
- SHOP – By buying any Powerpack in the Shop each week, you’ll automatically be in the draw to win one of 15x $150 Powershop credits.
- COMPETE – Every week we’ll reveal a special grand prize! The top 50 scores will go in the draw to win our grand prize and a $150 power credit.
The winners of the random weekly prize draws for one of the 45x $150 power credits and grand prize winner will be randomly selected from the entries on the following dates:
- Week 1 winners drawn: Monday 5 August 2024 – 4pm
- Week 2 winners drawn: Monday 12 August 2024 – 4pm
- Week 3 winners drawn: Monday 19 August 2024 - 4pm
- Week 4 winners drawn: Monday 26 August 2024 – 4pm
Winners will be announced on our Instagram and Facebook stories and contacted via email or directly through Facebook or Instagram and may be asked to provide proof of eligibility.
You can win a maximum of one $150 power credit prize per week and only one grand prize throughout the promotional period. If a winner is eligible for two prizes in a week (eg if the winner wins a $150 power credit and a grand prize) we will default to the prize with larger monetary value). Powershop can deem which prize that is without notifying the winner.
Anyone who fits the eligibility criteria (see below) (including non-Powershop customers) can enter multiple times (within reason), spam accounts will be excluded. Powershop reserves the right to judge whether they deem an entry genuine or spam.
The prizes:
- One of 45x $150 Powershop power credits weekly. Non-Powershop customers will have six months to redeem their $150 power credit by signing up as a Powershop customer. After six months the power credit will be void.
- One grand prize as follows:
- Prize 1 (week 1) – Pink Smeg Retro style kettle and toaster set + $150 power credit
- Prize 2 (week 2) – Pink Moccamaster kb741 classic + $150 power credit
- Prize 3 (week 3) - Apple AirPods Max Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones – Pink + $150 power credit
- Prize 4 (week 4) - KitchenAid 6.6L Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer KSM70 Feathered Pink + $150 power credit
- The Powershop power credits will be credited to the winners’ account within 30 business days of supplying the details to claim their prize.
By accepting a grand prize, the winners will be deemed to have accepted the grand prize suppliers’ terms and conditions of supply, warranties, privacy policy and any other of the suppliers’ terms and conditions relating to the supply of the grand prize. Powershop is not liable for any loss or damages to the winner caused by grand prize under this competition whatsoever.
The winner will need to contact the supplier of the grand prize (i.e. Kitchen things, Coffee Supreme, Apple and KitchenAid) directly if they have any queries or issues relating to the grand prize.
Eligibility to enter and win
Each person is eligible to enter the competitions multiple times and must:
- be over 18 and a New Zealand resident;
- be a natural person (i.e. not a business or other entity);
- not be an employee or contractor of Powershop (and its related companies) or their immediate families; and
- meet all the entry requirements
If a non-Powershop customer wins a power credit they can choose to:
- Switch to Powershop to claim the prize within six months. After six months the power credit will be void; or
- Forfeit the $150 Powershop prize credit.
Powershop reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the entry process or operating in violation of these terms and conditions.
In the event that we cannot contact the winner within five business days of the prize draw, that winner will forfeit the prize and Powershop will conduct a redraw.
All prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. If a winner does not meet the eligibility at the time of the draw, Powershop will conduct a redraw.
Powershop reserves the right to use the prize winner’s name and region and their entry into this competition for publicity purposes without payment or other compensation.
By taking part in Powershop’s 15th Birthday Game, winners agree that their name and contact details may be shared with suppliers for the purposes of transferring the prize to them.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Powershop (and any related companies or associated agencies), including any employees, contractors, officers, directors and agents, is not liable to any person for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or any damages, expenses, or costs whatsoever, including without limitation any damage to property or personal injury suffered as a result of or in connection with winning a prize.
Once a prize has been made available to the winners, Powershop has no liability for any failure to comply with or delay in complying with its obligations in respect of the prize due to any circumstances beyond Powershop's reasonable control.
Powershop may change these terms and conditions in its sole discretion at any time by notice on its Facebook page. Powershop reserves the right to amend or cease running this competition at any time by notice on its Facebook page.

Verifying compliance with these terms
Powershop reserves the right to verify the identity of any entrant (including an entrant's identity, age, city/town of residence) and to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Powershop reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the game for any reason, without prior notice.
By participating in Powershop’s 15th Birthday Game, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
